The RML Ledger

Thank you, October

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Halloween Bash, the Last Tailgate benefit dinner and the first weeks of Turkey Shoot season.

November is a quieter month on the calendar, but there is plenty going on, and it ends with the Lodge saying thanks to the people who make it what it is.

The Angel Tree goes up November 1

This year we are sponsoring Angel Trees for two schools in our community. The tree goes up at the Lodge on Sunday, November 1. Stop by, pick an Angel, buy and wrap the gifts on the tag, and bring them back to the Lodge by December 15.

Every Angel is a local child who gets a Christmas because a Moose member cared. Thank you. See the slide.

Music Bingo with Dave, Saturday November 14

7pm, free entry. Name that tune, mark your card and win. Turkey Shoot runs on the range the same night and the drawing is at 8pm. See the slide.

Senior Thanksgiving Lunch, Sunday November 22

1pm in the Lodge Hall. A free Thanksgiving meal for our senior members and seniors from the community. The Lodge provides the turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy and stuffing. Members, the sign-up sheet to bring a side or dessert is in the Social Quarters. Cards at 5pm and Bingo at 6pm follow as usual. See the slide.

Closed Thanksgiving Day

The Lodge is closed Thursday, November 26 so everyone can be with their families. We are back Friday the 27th at 4pm, with Turkey Shoot and the pool tournament at 7pm. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us.

Turkey Shoot, every week through December 26

Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, member sign-up at 6pm. $5 a shot, all ages, little ones shoot with an adult's help. Bring your own shotgun and we supply the shells, or use a house gun. Closest to the bull's-eye wins meat prizes.

Every dollar goes to the Angel Tree gifts, Christmas for our Mooseheart kids, and local families who need a hand. Details.
